The Art of the Persona

"Relax, superstition boy," PromptGirl smirked, cracking her knuckles over the keyboard. "The digital spirits didn't curse you. Your instructions just sucked. You didn't give the AI a Persona, and you didn't give it Context. Watch a master at work."

She pulled up a glowing prompt interface on the holographic screen. Three empty slots appeared, each labelled with a neon tag.

"See what I did there?" PromptGirl explained, looking directly at you. "I gave the AI a specific role to play. If you don't tell the AI who it is, it just guesses. And right now, Snowball guessed he was a Roman plumber."

Snowball shuddered, his toga vanishing. He shrunk back into a sleek, glowing black sphere with smiling pixel eyes. "Ooh, much better! Accessing historical databases... tailoring tone for maximum teenage engagement..."
